The Republic of Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world located in Southeast Asia. Crossing the equator between the Continent of Asia and Australia and also between the Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. Indonesia is bordered by Malaysia on the northern island of Kalimantan, with Papua New Guinea on the eastern island of Papua and with East Timor on the northern island of Timor.

Indonesia has more than 18,000 islands (around 6000 uninhabited) which spread around the equator, providing tropical weather. The most populous island of its population is Java, where half the Indonesian population lives. Indonesia consists of 5 large islands, namely: Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi, and New Guinea.
